How We Produce Color Paper 

    Understanding the production process helps our customers appreciate the quality and value behind every sheet. Here is a general overview of how color paper is manufactured:

1. Pulp Preparation

The process begins with selecting high-quality wood pulp. The pulp is refined and mixed with water to achieve the right fiber consistency. Additives such as fillers and optical brightening agents may be introduced to enhance paper properties.

2. Coloring & Dyeing

Pigments or dyes are added to the pulp mixture to achieve the desired color. This step requires precise control to ensure color accuracy and uniformity across the entire batch.

3. Sheet Formation

The colored pulp is spread evenly onto a moving wire mesh, where water drains away and the fibers begin to bond, forming a continuous wet sheet.

4. Pressing & Drying

The wet sheet passes through a series of rollers to remove excess water and compact the fibers, followed by drying through heated cylinders to achieve the final moisture content.

5. Sizing & Surface Treatment

A surface sizing agent may be applied to improve the paper's strength, smoothness, and printability. This step also enhances the paper's resistance to water and ink penetration.

6. Calendering

The dried paper is passed through calendering rollers to achieve a smooth, even surface with consistent thickness and gloss.

7. Cutting & Packing

The finished paper is cut into standard or custom sizes, inspected for quality, and packed according to customer requirements – ranging from small sheets to bulk cartons.
