DIY Christmas Fleece Stocking Ornament
Spread holiday warmth with this tiny fleece stocking—easy to make and oh-so cute! Here’s how:
Step 1: Grab Your Stuff
• Red or green fleece (6x6 inch square)
• White fleece (scraps for trim)
• Scissors, thread, needle, and a small jingle bell.
Step 2: Cut the Stocking Shape
Fold the colored fleece in half. Draw a 3-inch tall stocking outline on the folded edge. Cut through both layers—you’ll get two identical pieces.
Step 3: Add the Trim
Cut a 4-inch strip of white fleece (1 inch wide). Glue or sew it along the top curved edge of one stocking piece (the “cuff”).
Step 4: Sew It Up
Place the two stocking pieces together (trimmed side on top). Sew around the edges, leaving the top open. Leave a ½-inch gap for turning.
Step 5: Flip and Decorate ✨
Turn the stocking right side out through the gap. Tuck the jingle bell inside. Sew the gap closed. Add a white fleece “toe” or “heel” patch if you like!
Step 6: Hang It Proudly
Tie a loop of thread or ribbon to the top for hanging. Your mini fleece stocking is ready for the tree!
